On October 3, 2024, GIFT University had the pleasure of hosting a distinguished delegation from the University of East London. The delegation was led by Ms. Stefanie Walton, Director of Recruitment, and Ms. Vanessa Varvas, Chief Marketing Officer.
The visit, organized by Miss Saima Aziz, Director Centre for international Relations in collaboration with Dr. Shazia Riaz Dar, Director of GLC, aimed to strengthen mutual cooperation between the two institutions. The discussions centered around further collaboration, including potential joint initiatives and academic partnerships. The delegation also had the opportunity to meet with the International Office Team and faculty members from various schools at GIFT University, fostering meaningful connections and opportunities for future engagement.
The visit was enriched by vibrant cultural activities, where GLC Club members beautifully showcased a cultural display, celebrating the rich traditions of both Pakistan and the UK. It was an inspiring day, filled with the exchange of ideas, diverse perspectives, and a shared commitment to academic excellence.
In addition to exploring future collaborations, the University of East London announced that GIFT University graduates would be eligible for direct admission based on the Medium of Instruction (MOI), eliminating the need for additional language tests. This is a significant benefit that opens up new academic pathways for our graduates.
