With his extensive expertise in both practical media production and theoretical media pedagogy, Mr. Krambrock brings a wealth of knowledge and experience. As the founder of his own production house and a Senior Expert with Senior Expert Services (SES) Germany, he has a distinguished track record in the media industry, making him a valuable resource for students and professionals alike.
During his visit, Mr. Krambrock trained Mass Communication students in the art of documentary filmmaking and general filmmaking techniques. Through hands-on workshops, he introduced students to the fundamentals of documentary production, covering key aspects such as storytelling, camera techniques, editing, and researching for documentaries. This immersive experience provided students with a deep understanding of the filmmaking process, particularly within the documentary genre. For the Department of Mass Communication students, Mr. Krambrock’s visit also provided guidance on the ethical responsibilities of media organizations and the role of truth in media. In collaboration with the Gift Language Centre (GLC) and the Centre for International Relations (CIR), Mr. Krambrock conducted a filmmaking workshop exploring six distinct styles: poetic, expository, observational, participatory, reflective, and performative.
