On November 19, 2024, GIFT University had the privilege of hosting a distinguished delegation from Cranfield University, consisting of Mr. Gani Goonewardana, International Development Manager, and Hassan Khan, Country Representative. This visit marked an exciting opportunity to explore collaborative efforts in research, faculty exchange programs, executive education, student exchange programs, and scholarships for Pakistani students. One of the key topics discussed was fostering entrepreneurial ventures and developing an entrepreneurial mindset, empowering both students and faculty to pursue innovative business opportunities.
The delegation from Cranfield University engaged in meaningful discussions with the GIFT University team, which included Asim Ilyas, Director of CSE, Ms. Saima Aziz, Director of CIR, Iqra Mazhar, Manager CSE, and Tahreem Hayat, Assistant Manager CIR. Together, they laid the groundwork for future collaborations designed to strengthen educational ties and open new opportunities for students and faculty alike.
As a result of these discussions, GIFT University and Cranfield University are excited to announce the launch of a series of virtual seminars, lecture series, and bootcamps. These initiatives will focus on professional development, academic exchange, and nurturing an entrepreneurial spirit within the academic community. This collaboration is set to create new pathways for innovation, education, and global partnerships in entrepreneurship and beyond.
